  • Serge Doubrovsky: Life, Writing, Legacy
  • Guest Editor, Elizabeth H. Jones

Serge Doubrovsky is well known in the French speaking world and outside it, not only for the seven volumes of autobiographical writing that he has published since 1977 but also for the role he played in coining the now widely-used term ‘autofiction’. As Serge Doubrovsky celebrates his eightieth birthday, this special edition will bring together studies that address all aspects of his work. These will include thematic studies of his literary writings, investigations of the polemic surrounding the notion of ‘autofiction’ and explorations of his work as a critic.

Deadline for submission: October 1, 2008
